Seduce Me by Ryan Michele

Seduce Me (Ravage MC, #2)Seduce Me by Ryan Michele

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I am so glad I got the opportunity to read this book sooner rather than later. Shortly after its release, I snagged a copy of Ravage Me and read it; while I enjoyed it, parts of it fell short for me which rendered it a good read, but not a great read. When Seduce Me came up for review, I snagged it because I wanted to see if Ms. Michele’s writing had continued to evolve. She did not disappoint. Seduce Me is just as action-packed as book one was, but it provided more character development and angst this time around.

Casey and G.T. were both raised in the MC lifestyle, but because of their genders they had different experiences once they hit their teens. Once he hit 13, the elders began grooming G.T. to take a leadership role. Bam, Casey’s father, was determined to insure that she had a choice and options to live a life outside of the club once she hit 18. Unfortunately she did not know this and we learn that it is the little things his decision causes that make her feel like an outsider, which causes her to leave the club for college – well, that and G.T. Ms. Michele does an excellent job in Casey’s character development and the way in which she does and does not express herself. The trauma that Casey undergoes and her reactions to it are so realistic, I felt like I was reading about an actual person and not the author’s creation … which is the way it should be. And while I don’t personally know any bikers, G.T.’s reactions felt similarly realistic and I couldn’t help but feel badly for him as he dealt with devastating blow after devastating blow. The chemistry between Casey and G.T. is explosive and makes for some very steamy sex scenes.

Whereas Ravage Me was a good read, Seduce Me is a great read … at least for me. I was able to immerse myself in Casey and G.T.’s story, while catching up with characters from the previous book. I enjoy seeing an author’s writing style improve from one book to the next and Ms. Michele’s Ravage MC series has definitely improved. I look forward to reading the next book in the series.

I received a complimentary copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.
