Review of Finding Their Bliss by Thianna D.

Finding Their Bliss
Finding Their Bliss by Thianna D.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Finding Their Bliss was a good solid read for me. As the first book in the series, Thianna D introduces us to the pro-spanking community known as Corbin’s Bend. What? Did you read that right? Why, yes you did. Corbin’s Bend is a community located a couple of hours away from Denver that welcomes residents who enjoy giving and/or receiving a spanking, whether it be in the privacy of their own home or in public within the community, wherever the discipline needs to be provided, it’s okay with the other residents.

In the first installment for the series, we meet Charmagne Kendle, whose life was destroyed when she trusted a friend with her secret interest in spanking … not that she had done it or was looking for someone to spank her, just that she was fascinated with the concept. Char quickly learned that her friend was NOT a friend as she lost her job, her fiancé AND her apartment when her “friend” decided to tell others about Char’s spanking fantasy. I found it quite entertaining and karma at its best that Char just happened to stumble upon a piece of property located within the Corbin’s Bend development that wasn’t actually part of the community, so she moved there without realizing she was about to find her destiny – a spanking-friendly community. That fate put her in the path of the delightfully delicious Brent Carmichael was just icing on the cake … once she found out the true nature of Corbin’s Bend. As expected, the sex is hot and Brent and Char most definitely find their bliss in the bedroom.

As a regular reader of BDSM novels, I was excited for the opportunity to read and review some of the novellas from the Corbin’s Bend series. Thanks to Thianna D, I finally understand the difference between a relationship based on domestic discipline (which is the type of relationship Char and Brent form) and a D/s or Master/slave relationship. Finding Their Bliss is a quick, enjoyable read that is a good start for the Corbin’s Bend series. I look forward to reading the next author’s take on the spanking-friendly community of Corbin’s Bend.

I received a complimentary copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.
