Review of Ménage on 34th Street by Elise Logan & Emily Ryan-Davis

Menage on 34th Street
Menage on 34th Street by Elise Logan & Emily Ryan-Davis

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

WOW! That was a scorchingly hot read! The sex scenes are hot, hot, HOT! We know from the book’s title that a ménage occurs during the course of the book, but the level of sexual intensity the authors introduce from the very beginning will keep your toes curling throughout most of the read. While things may be a bit uncertain initially, this trio ultimately go for the gusto and explore most of the sexual couplings possible (MF, MM, MFM) and the authors’ ability to describe a scene makes reading Ménage on 34th Street an almost voyeuristic experience.

I will admit that I didn’t read the book’s synopsis carefully and didn’t realize that the Kat and Liam had known Hunter long before he entered their relationship. Their history with one another made for a much more enjoyable read, especially as they dealt with past hurts and problems and attempted to move forward. What made the relationship aspect so realistic was that the issues weren’t just between Kat & Liam as the couple and Hunter as the third being added to the relationship, but there were also issues arose between each of the pairings. I further appreciated the attention that was paid to Hunter’s serving in the Marines and how pursuing a long-term relationship as a trio could impact his military career negatively.

The authors did an excellent job in writing a ménage book that was both realistic (i.e., addressing real world problems) and sexy. Ménage on 34th Street has definitely made in on my reread list and I am looking forward to reading the sequel to find out how the fare as they move forward.
