Review of Perfect Chaos by Nashoda Rose

Perfect Chaos
Perfect Chaos by Nashoda Rose

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I don’t normally comment on covers, but sweet baby Jesus that man is hot. I have lusted after that man since the first time I saw one of his pics on Facebook and I had no problem envisioning him as Deck the entire time I read. Now that I have that out of the way, Perfect Chaos was a perfectly timed read for me. I enjoy a good romantic suspense, but Ms. Rose managed to ramp up the suspense to a level I hadn’t realized I was missing. This made for one seriously intense read that kept me guessing the entire time and truth be told, I’m still in the dark about several things but that’s the mark of a great romantic suspense series – it leaves you with more questions than answers so that you are compelled to read the next book.

The Prologue had me in tears. Having to witness Georgie’s emotional pain upon learning that her brother was dead was devastating. Unfortunately as the book unfolds we learn that that scene was just the beginning of her downward spiral and I found myself quickly sucked into her story. I devoured this book because I knew Georgie was hiding something, I could not figure out what it was and I just had to know. When her secret was finally revealed, that was not even on my radar. Just about the time I thought I had a handle on what was going on … BAM! another twist or another betrayal was revealed. What was not a surprise was the sexual intensity Georgie and Deck had. Although it took her ten years before she finally convinced Deck to ignore the promise he made to her brother, Georgie finally got her man … again and again and again … you get the idea. Even better than the scorching sex was the love they had for one another and how each was willing to sacrifice in order to protect the other.

Although the Unyielding series is a spin-off from the Ms. Rose’s Tear Asunder series, you do not have to have read the Tear Asunder books first. I haven’t read that entire series and while the characters make appearances in this book, they are friends of Georgie’s and not pivotal to the storyline. Perfect Chaos has the Unyielding series off to a great start and I’m looking forward to the next book in the series because I am dying to learn more about Kai.

I received a complimentary copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.
