Filthy for the Night by C.J. Fallowfield
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
EWWWW!!! That’s my response to Yasmin’s fantasy in Filthy for the Night
Still reeling from his appointment with Summer the week prior in Virgin for the Night, Logan is hopeful that fulfilling Yasmin’s fantasy to be used and degraded for the evening will help him move on from Summer. Instead he spends most of the evening comparing his reaction to Yasmin and her sexual preferences to Summer and his appointment with her. As much as the sex in Filthy for the Night did not work for me personally, I loved watching Logan’s character continue to develop as his self-awareness progressed over the course of the night’s events. Oddly enough, I have to say that I was impressed with Logan’s ability to see the evening through without allowing his increasing distaste for the events to bleed through and shame his client. Of course I found the quick end to the evening rather humorous even if it served as a painful reminder for Logan that it’s best not to stray from his standard operating procedures.
Despite my personal dislike of Yasmin’s fantasy, I wouldn’t have missed Filthy for the Night as it proved to be quite revealing of Logan’s inner turmoil since his night with Summer. We not only got to see Logan learn about himself, but also more about his personal standards and expectations when it comes to women. I have really enjoyed the For the Night series to date and am looking forward to the next book in the series, Ménage for the Night.
I received a complimentary copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.
