My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I am impressed. There was far more story in Strangers for the Night than I anticipated due to its length. Knowing that the main character, Logan Steele, is a gigolo, I expected a sex-filled novella as he narrated one night in his life with a client. And while there is plenty of sex – the lucky lady did contract for and receive four orgasms – this is also the tale of how Logan taught her about more than just pleasure.

While Logan may be a high class gigolo, he has a strict set of rules which he enforces before accepting a booking. These rules protect him and the client. Unbeknownst to him, his latest booking, Camilla Domville, intends to break a couple of his rules in order to obtain his services exclusively. Because Logan takes his job seriously he runs background checks on all potential clients and suspects that Camilla may have more on her mind than just a good time for the evening; when his suspicions are confirmed by one of the hotel employees he is more on guard during their evening together and sets out to give her more than just the required orgasms.

Strangers for the Night was a quick read that packed quite the punch. I found both characters to be believable and enjoyed their chemistry – or simulated chemistry. That Camilla believed Logan to be enthralled by her was a testament to his ability to perform his duties. As expected, the sexual interactions were HOT! Based on the elevator scene alone, Logan was so worth whatever Camilla paid for him. That he was not only able to perform his job, but also managed to teach Camilla a lesson was awesome. I absolutely loved it when she got his email after their evening was finished. Because Ms. Fallowfield had Logan review the details regarding his next client, I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series, Virgin for the Night.

I received a complimentary copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.
