Seriously Ms. Fallowfield! What are you doing to me? I adore Logan Steele and Sophisticated for the Night has taken me on a rollercoaster ride of emotions I never expected to experience with this series. Hope for? Yes. Actually get from a series of erotic novellas about a high class gigolo? Nope, I really didn’t expect it. And yet, you took me on a journey of highs and lows, broke my heart and put it back together only to rinse and repeat that action, and turned me on quite thoroughly as Logan found that as much as he excelled at sex, he was even better at it when he cared for the person he was with.

While you can read Sophisticated for the Night as a standalone, I strongly recommend that you read Virgin for the Night before it to fully appreciate the story. I have been waiting for Summer’s return since finishing Virgin for the Night and was so excited when I learned that Logan was breaking his own rules and hijacking her movie premiere plans to reconnect with her. I loved that as charming and suave as Logan is, that he still made mistakes with Summer. The difficulty he had in “turning off” his escort persona and being himself spoke to how nervous he was around her and how much her approval of the real Logan meant to him. Even though the book is presented from both Logan and Summer’s points of view, I was still nervous for Logan as he waited to see just how Summer would react to his unexpected reappearance. While parts of the date went perfectly, other parts did not. I enjoyed the security and confidence that Logan’s presence gave Summer. The passion and sexual attraction between the two is off the charts, which resulted in some stellar sex scenes. And the ending, oh my goodness Ms. Fallowfield how could you end it that way?!?!?! I was both devastated and hopeful, but more than anything relieved that there are three more installments in the For the Night series so I know there’s still more Logan to come – pun intended – in Biker for the Night. I cannot wait!
